I held my sons 4th birthday party at Eli's. The planning with Robin made everything so easy. It eliminated so much stress. They were able to accommodate all my needs without any question. The food was great. The room needs updates but they are actually working on that now and then future photos look amazing. I will most likely be having his birthday here next year as well! Highly recommend!

Oh, there are other Eli's restaurants around the area. This is the original and still the best always has good games on the television friendly people work in the place good food, relaxing atmosphere a nice place to watch the game at night or on a weekend or grab a drink after work

Love this place! The people are nice and the service is good. Food is also good and they have a nice selection of craft beers. They also host a trivia night which is pretty cool. There were a lot of college kids which makes sense for the area so dont expect an older crowd. Would definitely recommend!

Eli's on Whitney, as always, did a fantastic job working with Yale Comparative Medicine's annual holiday party. The staff was on point, the manager, the bartender, and Kelly, the sales manager, kept me calm throughout all the changes I threw at them. They made it work perfectly, despite the growth in numbers this year in our department.

We had a great experience for our monthly chapter meeting for one of the civic organizations. Everyone was very pleased with everything. The setting was perfect. The staff was great and efficient. The food was delicious. We will be back. Thank you for all your help! Tanya

Recently went to Eli's (September 24) and had an awesome martini at the recommendation of the bartender. And she was spot on with the martini. I also heard that they have a really good pistachio martini which I will try next time I go. Also had a great smokehouse burger and fries.

Bustling Saturday Night for the 150th Kentucky Derby! Everything was very good and plenty of draft beer selections too. Our large party started off with nachos, chipotle wings, avocado egg rolls and crispy Brussel sprouts. Everything was tasty and were excellent portions! For dinner, the Fish n Chips, Honey Sirracha Chicken and Ahi Tuna were great! The chicken parm looked good too - with Eli's own vodka sauce recipe. My wife said it was very good. We also tried the Cali Burrito and my Son loved it. Definitely will return next time I'm in the Hamden area. Only ding is parking is a hassle.

Came here for a fundraiser and they have a private room on the ground floor. It has bathrooms on that level. It is also equipped with a service bar. We did a buffet and all the items were very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking is limited and you could park in their back lot( 6 spaces) or across the street in their pizza restaurant. If both are full you will need to park on the street.
